So I've been in administrative processing for a while now (almost 2 months). The embassy finally returned my passport circa 2 weeks ago. A letter was included upon the retrieval of my passport stating that the consular officer is awaiting the affidavit of support and  my passport once I am done travelling. I contacted the embassy the very same day via email and informed them that I had already provided the document the day after my interview (7/02/18) through LNDIVSUBMISSIONS@state.gov.

The CEAC tracker has now  changed from "Administrative Processing" to "READY" Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview...

What does this mean?

I would say that is the default when they don't have another "canned" statement that applies. It means you got changed from AP status which sounds good. Have you completed your travel and returned the passport? Did your travel include any country from which you were required to get a police certificate?

Alright thank you for your prompt response. I'll be back on Wednesday and I'll return my passport then. Yes I am in one of the countries that I provided a police report for.

I remember (just one person) a case where when he returned his passport after a long AP, and because he had left the country they had to do a new security check AP. I guess it depends on if your delay was a security check which they do for certain countries.
