depends upon what stage of development you're referring to. do you realize that 31% of conceptions end up in miscarriage, that would be a mighty sad figure if we were talking 31% of babies dying.

an emotional attachment to a pregnancy has nothing to do with scientific terms referencing stage of development. anyway do you think women that are prochoice just brush off a miscarriage like, 'nothing but a clump of cells anyway, what's for dinner?!'

Didn’t say that, was just asking the question.  As to the settled science, if a featus is not killing a life in terms of abortion, why does a criminal that murders a pregnant woman and the featus get charged for two murders in most states?
