Stepson 2 year Green Card expiring

Hello, my Stepson 2 year green card expires in July 2018 I know you have to submit form 90 Days before his Green Card expires, which form do I use? I-90 or I571?

Or none of the above for the 10 Year Green Card?

Hi,

 

You will need to remove his condition by using the I-751. Once his ROC is approved, he will receive a 10-year green card/lpr. 

You only use I-90 if you need to replace or renew a GC. Hope this helps

So all I need to do is go the I-751 form route, does it matter his age is 19 years old now? His 2 Year Green Card expires in August 2018 so in June I should file for his 10 Year Green Card?

You will file 90 days before the expiration date on his current GC.

Does your stepson qualify to file on the same form as your spouse? Why does he have to file on his own? If he arrived at the same time or within 90 days of your spouse, they can file using the same I751 form and fee, with 2 biometrics charges.
