You missed my statistics which are public and out for anyone to see. Criminals will break any law or laws in place to commit a crime. The most gun violence/murders are done in areas that are "gun free" zones or the strictest gun law cities.

Some of the safest areas? The ones with the most legal gun owners. Check the facts.

But Still children in schools getting guns more easier than beer in some states does not justify gun laws.

Security of our country is a waste of time?  Really? This isn't about looking for "anti-Trump" posts.  It is about screen for people/organizations which might pose a threat to citizens and residents of the US.

Well, that isn't quite what I said... This is a waste of time for USCIS.

We also don't yet know where the line would be drawn on anti-Trump posts. Of course I'm looking at a worst case scenario here, but let's be real, it's not too far fetched to imagine being rejected because you've posted some creative profanities alongside a photo of Trump.

You keep missing the point... if someone wants to do something to harm others/commit crimes, they will find a way. If they bought a gun illegally, I mean then what good did some other gun law do? Only punished the law abiding citizens.

Again read the article in the first post. It isn't just "crazy americans" who will do harm to people.

Well you are right.

but dont you think strict gun laws will reduce mass school shootings?

What if there should be official licenses given by any authority to only people passing all checks and providing their neccessity for requiring gun!

Screening of SNS profiles is alright, They can do it without ones consent.

If they ask for password, Then they get unprecedented access to personal messages as well, which could also be intimate between you and your spouse which you don't want anyone to look at.

So sneaking into internet accounts is alright coz they can do it anyways and if we're not extreme in any way they can't deny you. You can always go to immigration court to justify your point.

Actually, it's extremely far-fetched, imo....but on the other hand, if those "profanities" included a threat to the life of the President of the United States, then action would be warranted.

1.  Criminals and crazy people don't obey stricter gun laws.

2.  Who decides if I "need" a gun?

Question about who should have access to guns or no has nothing to do with immigration laws.

Though, Govt can always impose strict laws to make sure people are more responsible about guns. Or anything that can takes lives.

If there is a strict authority giving license for having gun than how crazy people can get that license and gun?

Everyone can decide for himself but getting that is a different thing!

Protecting our children while in school will reduce the number of deaths and injuries.  "Gun Free Zone" signs and more laws don't.

Yeah i am not relating these two things, just exposing hypocrisy of this administration.

More people are dying by guns that by immigrants so for state secuirty focus should be on gun controL.

Exactly, time and time again, a criminal will ignore any law... There's a law against murder, does that stop someone?

People thought the Parkland shooting was bad (and it was, it was terrible trust me) but two days after that some crazy guy in China killed 29 I think in a knife attack in at a subway station so... it's not guns that kill people, people kill people and will no matter what it takes or what choice of weapon.

And more teens die by driving and texting each year than any gun violence... so let's ban or raise the age of cell phones. Bet that wouldn't go over so well.

The administration isn't being hypocrytical, national security, as in immigration reform/control is within their power. Gun control, when you start affecting one of the article of the constitution, thats a whole different thing. And again, think there are over 100 million legal guns in the US... who's going to go get these back if they ban certain ones or start "restricting" certain types of ownership..
