I-751 evidence sufficient?

Hi everyone, 

 

I'll be filing my application soon, would appreciate feedback on the types of evidence I'm providing. I will be including notarized affidavits from my in-laws since we live with them, and therefore do not have a lease or pay public utilities. My husband is undergoing a career change and has returned to school, so we have a gap in employment and income as well which will be explained. Names have been altered intentionally where:

 

CPR = Conditional permanent resident (me)

USC = US citizen (my spouse)

 

Exhibit A

  • Original I-751 form

  • Check # for $$$

  • Copy of CPR's permanent resident card

 

Exhibit B

  • Original notarized affidavit from Father-in-law 

  • Original notarized affidavit from Mother-in-law

  • Original letter explaining USC's career change

  • Copy of USC's college enrolment

 

Exhibit C

  • Copy of marriage certificate, where Father-in-law and Mother-in-law were witnesses to the marriage of us

 

Exhibit D

  • Copy of 2015 tax return transcript

  • Copy of 2016 tax return transcript

  • Copy of 2017 tax return transcript

 

Exhibit E

  • Copy of letter from my employer stating joint coverage for health, dental, vision and life insurance from 2016 through present

  • Copy of 2018 benefits for CPR, showing USC as the dependent for medical, dental, vision insurances and beneficiaries of XXX Life Insurance and AD&D policies

  • Screenshot of CPR’s FSA account settings, showing USC as the authorized contact

 

Exhibit F

  • Copies of 1095-Bs for 2016, 2017 for USC, showing CPR as the dependent

  • Copies of 1095-Bs for 2016, 2017 for CPR, showing USC as the dependent

  • Copies of health insurance cards for USC and CPR

  • Copy of CPR’s FSA charges for 2018, showing charges made at XXX for USC

  • Copy of USC's receipt from XXX

  • Copy of CPR’s 2017 dental and vision insurance, showing USC as the dependent

  • Copy of USC's explanation of benefits for vision services incurred at XXX in 2017, showing CPR as the dependent

  • Copy of CPR’s FSA charges for 2017 made at XXXX

  • Copy of CPR’s 2016 dental and vision insurance, showing USC as the dependent

  • Copy of car insurance policy through XXX, showing USC and CPR are insured as secondary drivers

  • Copy of Mother-in-law's Verizon family plan before switching to T-Mobile, which CPR is now responsible for

  • T-Mobile statements from September 2016 to March 2018 paid by CPR for the household

 

Exhibit K

  • Wave Internet statements from May 2017 to March 2018 paid by USC for the household

 

Exhibit L

  • Joint mail, cards

    • Wedding card from XXX

    • Card from XXX, USC's former manager

    • Wedding invitation to XXX wedding

    • Medical bills (addressed to us separately, same residence)

You have plenty! Aome people submit a fourth of what you mentioned (which I don’t understand why...but that’s for a different post!) As for the trips-if you traveled outside of the country together you can show both of your passport stamps/flight itinerary/hotel bill and photos. With all the info you’ve collected this wouldn’t be a deal-breaker if you don’t have it.

It’s just a simple informal to whom it may concern, I am writing this letter to state my son XYZ and his wife XYZ have been living with my husband and I at STATE ADDRESS since her arrival in the us on DATE. They are more than welcome to stay with us until they buy a home of their own. Enclosed is a copy of the deed of the house showing we own it” have it signed and dated and notarized if you’d like.
