Used wrong case number on medical exam!

Hoping someone can help us with this! Our case was mistakenly sent to Montreal when it should have been sent to Sydney, Australia. It was then transferred to Sydney, and we've gone through the process to finally get our interview date scheduled. While we were waiting for a date, my fiance had his medical exam and had the clinic send it over to the consulate. Our attorney (yes, we regret using an attorney now) gave us the wrong case number (they thought it would change to SYDXXXX when it was transferred perhaps), so the medical exam report will have the wrong case number. It would have all of the other information correct,. Has anyone else had a similar situation? Will my fiance need to have another medical exam to rectify this? His interview is less than two weeks away, so thanks for any help

Have you contacted the consulate where the medical has been sent to and explained the situation and asked them what to do?

They communicate via email, and we have reached out to them, but being a holiday weekend we are not sure whether we will get an answer until next week. Just wondering if anyone else has been through a similar situation and can offer insight. Thanks.

Just an update in case anyone sees this down the road...The consulate said as long as his personal details are correct, the medical report will be attached to our case. His interview is just 9 hours away...we are anxiously waiting and hoping for approval.
