Hello All,

This year, my wife will enter the USA with all the IR1/CR1 paperwork in the envelope (once she is approved).

I got new job offer out of state and what I do not know is:

Is her POE related to address in IR1/CR1 application (I-130, etc.) or not?

In other words, can she enter the USA at any POE or not?

Regards,

She can enter at any POE.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

She can enter U.S at any POE. She can also travel Anywhere in the U,S and her cr-1 visa is also her temporary Green-card valid for one year or until the real one comes in the Mail which should not be that long

If you are moving then you might want to do a change of address with the USCIS or at the POE I think she can change the address if you know what it is

It is good news that she can enter at any POE. I hope that once she enters the USA, IO will update her address and give her some kind of receipt showing new address.

Regarding planning, we do not expect any significant delays in processing. Based on our timeline, the case should be closed by December 2018.

If you move before the NVC stage or before her interview she can update the address at which she intends to live, on the visa application, at the interview, OR, at the POE.

I covered that in my answer.  At the interview, or at the port of entry.  Do it at the earliest opportunity.
