College finacial aid on a k1 visa

My fiancée and I have finally made it through the long process of getting our K1 visa approved. We are about to get married and apply for the AOS. During that time when waiting for the AOS to be processed she would like to apply for college. One problem is finding financial aid. I'd be willing to be a cosigner, even put the loan in my name. Is there any way possible for her to go to college and get financial aid? What companies provide it?

Thank you for any information

You'll probably have to wait until she has her green card (or at a minimum, her AP/EAD card) before she can be eligible for financial aid. She'll also have to get a SSN. Her green card will also make her eligible for in-state tuition for public colleges, although every state has different residency requirements (for instance, one has to be a resident in CA for a year before one qualifies for in-state tuition).

When my wife looked into student loans, wells fargo offered them along with freddie mac. The only reason I co-signed the application was due to my better credit score so she'd get a lower interest rate.
