Generally speaking, and correct me if I'm wrong in this case, people post memes that they agree with or feel there is some truth in them. Not sure why you would post something that you don't agree with.

The meme is wrong in both instances.  First of all, it is not the entire younger generation that is behind this most recent protests and want to start a revolution, just as it is not the entire generation that cannot start a lawnmower.

of course it's not the 'entire' generation behind the protests, but to believe the whole movement is a farce perpetuated by adults/soros is ignorant of youth involvement in protests throughout american history. not only is it ignorant, it's alex jones level silly.

Kids today are no dumber than when I was a kid.  Little has changed, except for the things used to be stupid.  In my day, guns were not used to be stupid, nor were tide pods or whatever the trend was a couple years ago.  

#MAGA is a process, not an overnight sensation.  And sadly, not a very promising process.

 

And to be clear as to my above remark, I don’t think America is all that bad at all.  The gun crime needs to change obviously; I mean, it has been trending down for decades, but not really fast enough.  It’s a great country in which to live, many freedoms.  But also many stupid things, like how much info and ID is required to buy a gun, yet we balk at requiring an ID to vote.  Silliness.

 

But even though I plan to retire and travel one day pretty soon, I will still use the US as my home base, because it is a great place to live. Not the only one, and perhaps not even the best one.  But great, nonetheless.

Had I made the meme (which I never have, my artistic abilities are very close to those of field mice), I would not have said an entire generation.  Had I been clever enough, I WOULD have used the lower pic, for sure.

At most I would have never expected the numbers to be more than 50% for under 18's. I would expect most would show up with a parent or guardian if they were under 18. Then I'd also account for the percentage of seniors in high school (in March of their senior year) who are already 18. 

 

Yes ultimately I'm sure the number of actual minors at the event were probably less than what has been reported by some media outlets, that is still a big leap to the claims you are making. So you need to provide some actual evidence for those claims.

 

If the Article is in the Daily Caller  then it must include the phrase  "funded by George Soros backed organizations"

there was a march here as well, and this one was organized by a local highschool kid. i think the dailycaller/breitbarts are hoping against hope and grasping at straws.  

instead of whining about the perceived origination of these protests, why don't the dailycallers/breitbarts of the world organize their own protests? before saturday, there was a rally at a local highschool and a bunch of nra fools showed up with their guns in tow. made them look silly of course, bunch of gun toting adults screaming at a handful of kids.

But concessions are made to prevent further deaths, we enact more laws, problem is the gun crowd don't want anymore laws to make it safer because they just see it as an infringement on their second amendment rights. I'd say we should just repeal or amend the second amendment. Even a Conservative Supreme Court Justice said it was the right thing to do.

We all know DC and Breitbart is biased.  What did you expect.  Doesn't change the numbers, or the protest.  I am a little amazed at all this need for counter-protesting.  Sure the folks that think otherwise should be able to speak, but what is the reason to do it at the same time, create conflict.

It is an infringement of one's 2nd Amendment rights.  You do know that the Constitution and specifically The Bill of Rights, restricts the government, not the people.  You can start working on the repeal of the 2nd Amendment if you want, there is a process for that.

what did i expect? i'm not going to go into what i expect from the daily caller/breitbart crowd. i'm just commenting on the op.

nra activists should have their own rallys/protests instead of whining about the march for our lives protests. not necessarily at the same time..i mean permits have to be issued.
