Hi guys

We are finally coming to the end of this looooong journey and I'm getting ready for the interview in Sydney in a few weeks time.

we have been told a few different things about the interview and are just wanting to know if my passport might get stamped on the spot or do I have to go back home to wait for a visa to come in the mail?

Also, I'm about to go for my medical in 2 days and am generally fit and healthy. Is there any reason why people would fail a medical?

Thanks Visa fam x

People may get hung up in the medical for drug use (including marijuana).  TB is the other main reason someone may be delayed.

If you look up the consulate review portal for your embassy (or Google visajourney + consulate revews + (city where embassy is)) you can see what others' experience was at your consulate.  Some let you pick it up the same day, others deliver it within a few days.
