You do realize  that most lucid people think execution is worse than deportation

you do realize that this guy didn't kill anyone, unlike the examples you provided.

If you want the rules changed, then get them changed instead of carrying the MDL emotional banner.  I have no sympathy for a drug trafficker veteran or not.

I believe it is all the same.  No murder charges, but what he was charged with was bad enough.  Off to Mexico with Mexican citizen criminals.

I can confirm it is all the same.

Aljazeera America really? You know they shut that site down for lack of traffic right? You know why there was lack of traffic? It's because it was so Anti-American that it was sad really and I hardly ever went there at all. Luckily I found a way around the direct link to the site and was able to reach the International site which was less biased believe it or not.

your quote is right there. convient of you to leave out Had the crime been committed by a USC, he/she might have plead the same sentence, served most of it,

served most of it. in comparison to "served little over half"

I’m sure you love twisting up the semantics all day.

The fact is, he served most of his sentence and was deported, just like any other mexican felon.  Just as any USC would have served most of their sentence, and would not be deported.  Most here have no problem understanding which really matters.

(FWIW, “most of” & “over half” can be interpreted to mean the exact same thing, assuming the original sentence length does not change.  Pretty much no one serves their entire sentences, except lifers.  But of course, you already knew that, and knew full well what I meant when I wrote the above.  I’m just trying to simplify the facts so all here can see the situation for what it really is.)
