but they have no say if they will be put in that position or not. i've always considered any vet a person who was willing to sacrifice their lives for their country. it's genuinely weird to me that you dont.

i wouldn't have a problem with that. i was raised that sort of sacrifice is to be respected.

i also don't think drug dealers should be executed, maybe you do. addiction is an illness, as is ptsd/tbi. i have plenty of experience with all three. low level drug traffickers are often addicts themselves. he served his time for the trafficking charge.

No where I the story about this particular vet was it mentioned that he was a drug user.
