Hi guys!

I lived in the UAE for almost the last 3 years, and I went to check how to get their police clearance certificates. Our lawyer found out at the website of the USA embassy in the UAE that the PC of people who lived there are waived because the government doesn't provide it to non residents. (Myself have the copy of the website with me, that consular agents are advised to waive it in this situation). My plan is to get my PC from Brazil (And the states I lived - my future interview will be there) and take this page with me regarding the UAE Police Clearance, just in case).

Has anyone had the same situation?

D&T here (not sure why I couldn’t log in on my account). This is old. Got divorced, became a US citizen. Jesus, so much happened since this topic!

Well, answering your question: the police certificate wasn’t needed. I took the page from the website that stated that it wasn’t needed for the UAE to my interview and it was all good. Good luck in your journey!
