Hello

I am going to petition for my parents being a US citizen. I have questions regarding this; any help is appreciated.

Do I file 2 I 130 for each of them means one for father and one for mother? Or its one for both of them?

My birth certificate and passport has different spellings for my dad’s name, can it create trouble? Do I need to change it on my birth certificate? If so, it can be done in a India.

Another question is about my passport, it contains parents name with Different spelling than their passport. So I should get that changed too? If so, I am filing my citizenship next month so should I fill up N 400 with spelling which is there in my dads spelling and it will get auto changed for me on my end?

This spelling difference doesn’t make any difference at all?

 Thank you in advance

05/22/2013- I 130 Sent

05/24/2013- NOA 1 (PD)

09/09/2013- Transferred to NSC from VSC

09/17/2013- NSC started processing

11/06/2013- Received Approval- NOA 2
