Cleaning up after large events is always a mess, and I always see trash. I used to live in Portland Oregon and even just after the Rose Parade there would be trash everywhere. Heck the Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City is also always full of trash afterwards. 

 

A city's infrastructure isn't set up to allow 800,000 people all out on the street at once to easily "clean up after themselves". Stop pretending it only happens at "certain kinds of gatherings", your insecurities are showing.

Hyperbole.  That seems to be running rampant in this thread, so I thought I would join in.  However, I do remember reading back in the Tea Party protest days that the streets were left fairly clean after those.  Maybe all these generational representatives could have used their backpacks to carry off their own trash.

Great points have been made in this thread about how insignifgant the impact of the trash was compared to the crowd size. Wasn't this twice the crowd size as Trump's inauguration? Ouch. 

Brietbart sent out a crack team of photo journalists and they come back with three photos if nearly insignifgant impact. If anything Breitbart made the case that these protestors we're repectful.

Hmm, injecting Trump into the thread now, seems par for the course and as others have said shows insecurities.  Still doesn't negate the sweeping statement you made that these few hundred thousand kids there (note many of the folks there were parents, as well as professional protesters) represent the entire generation.

Actually, your insecurities did you in.  Regardless, still haven't addressed my question, but I suppose there are reasons for that.  I could not care less about the irresponsibility these and other protesters have exercised with respect to the trash pick-up, it is what it is.  But to say these folks represent an entire generation with Mr. "I don't know the difference between the 1st and 4th Amendments" Hogg as their official spokesperson is just blatantly false.

There are many pro second amendment students who aren't allowed to voice their opinions on the corporate media because of the rabid anti gun bias. It is ridiculous to say that the rabid anti gun crowd is a generational movement.

So a city's infrastructure isn't set up to allow people to carry their signs and other garbage back to their cars (or George Soros busses in this case) and take it home with them to be properly disposed of? Because of the city's infrastructure protesters were forced to carelessly throw their garbage into large piles on the street. Please explain this logic.

You mean the photo CNN took at 8am that morning that the left holds up as the inauguration crowd? That photo still looks bigger that the group of professional anti gun protesters.

Hyperbole? Exaggerating for effect to make a larger point and not intend the language to he taken literally? Yes I used hyperbole. It is an appropriate rhetoric tool to convey a point about something breathtakingly dramatic or beautiful.

Tea Party protests had very little turn out only about 75,000 in Washington. Now compare that to the Women's March and the March over the weekend we're approaching one million. Over ten times as many people.
