Hi everybody,

please help me understand how much longer I have to wait for an interview date scheduling if I've received my work permit in September 2017 and heard nothing from them ever since?

I tried calling 800-375-5283 but it was a dead end, they just sent me be back to the website.

On the website the case status is still the same.

The documents have been sent to U.S. Department of Homeland Security

USCIS National Benefits Center

P.O. Box 648005

Lee's Summit,MO 64002. and were received on May 19th 2017.

What would be the address of my field office?

Does it really take that long to schedule an interview?

Thanks a lot in advance for any helpful information!

@Miss_JK after you figure out your local field office, use this link https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ to check that office's processing time for I-485 and look at the case inquiry date. If your receipt date is before the stated case inquiry date, put in an e-Request https://egov.uscis.gov/e-Request/Intro.do;jsessionid=abcCUEtU9sLAi8czJHEjw

and select outside processing time to inquire.
