Documents to prove I have met US husband's friends/family?

Hello everyone!

 

I haven't been active in quite some time and hope to start wrangling up some documents before submitting my application to remove the conditions of my 2 year green card.

Is there a type of document/template others have used to have friends/family of your US spouse fill and date/sign to prove that they have met you and that my marriage is in good faith?

 

Would love to know how you've gone about it! My husband and I aren't big on taking photos of one another, but always go to concerts/sports games and spend time with his friends and family. 

USCIS Process:

Sent I-130 (via Canada Post): Feb 29, 2016

NOA1 hardcopy received: March 16, 2016

NOA2 approval text & email: June 9, 2016

9/5/2018                     We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time (this is getting boring!!!)

10/3/2018                  We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time (this is insanity, 4th time while some got GC)

10/17/2018                After 136 days of wait in HELL, finally EAD in production

10/21/2018                Card was mailed to me, and yes it said so on a Sunday night, while Vj-ing

10/22/2018                Card was picked up by the USPS

10/24/2018                EAD in hand. F%^&& finally

12/28/2018                Interview has been scheduled. Waiting for notification with date by snail mail

Thankfully I have those for the holidays, friends weddings, etc.

But some, we just go out to eat and go to the movies - so I wonder can I just include signed/dated affidavits in addition?

I wouldn't include a dozen affidavits; two affidavits should be sufficient. 

We took some of our pictures w/family and friends, scanned them and copied+pasted on a Word doc, two to a page. Printed in color. We captioned the page with the date and a brief one-line description of the location and context.

What NikiLR said. I also never included any affidavits from US spouse family. Or any other affidavits for that matter. 

 

We had plenty of regular bonafide marriage evidence - tax returns, bank statements, bills, vet bills, medical, insurance, vehicles, photos, travel.

They just want to see co-mingling of your finances. Affidavits are not required, they're more like "extra credit" stuff if you lack other evidence (says so in the instructions). If you want to show USCIS that you've met each others families photos are enough but not required. We sent some photos of us with each other families and we didn't send any affidavits and so far so good.
