My one month stay is coming to a close.  With a trip to Palawan (yes, we got the passport successfully applied for) and Bantayan, it has been a great experience.  Back to the grind.

Glad you had a great visit. I couldn't help but notice your husband's flip flops as it brings back a memory from one of my visits to the PI. I had forgotten my flip flops at home and when I got to the Philippines we went all over Cebu looking for a size 12-13 and couldn't find any. I bought two size 6's and glued them together. :jest:  just kidding.

Save travels home.

I am size 45 and it was impossible to find them in my size.  We went to 10 different shops until we found the only pair I think that was available in Oslob.  We spent a lot of time at Ukay Ukay looking for stuff in my size as well.  Fortunately we have a house and I get to leave everything here.

On my second trip to the Philippines my wife and I went to Coron (on the island of Busuanga just above Palawan) and spent about 6 days there, it was very much worth the trip! I do want to go to El Nido on Palawan one of these days also.
