Hi all,

I'm planning on accompanying my Fiance to her POE at Chicago O'Hare (we'll fly in together) in about 4 weeks (she's on the K1 Visa) :D Can't believe this day is finally here!!! Thank goodness :D:D

Question: She has her medical exam /  manila enveloped, sealed and all. Plus the passport with the visa of course. I've been reading and searching but can't find much info -- is there any other paperwork we should bring? Is it really necessary?

I have literally...probably a 6-inch stack of documents that we took to the interview. Should we bring any of this with us? The I-129F, I-134 Affidavit of Support...any birth certificates, my work documents, NOA1/NOA2 receipts from the USCIS? Is any of that necessary or just a massive 20lb stack of paperwork i'm needlessly dragging along?

From what I read, all the POE officers ask for is that medical envelope and the passport with the visa. But, I did read some people mention to bring the original I-129F application, and/or as well as the NOA1/NOA2 receipts from the USCIS.

Any thoughts/help/advice would be appreciated -- thanks so much!

They need nothing more.  Everything is in the sealed packet

YMMV
