I'm not asking the USA to be the same as these other countries I'm asking the USA to start Learning from these other countries when it comes to many issues. 

 

In terms of progress the USA has always been last to see the light. Abolishing slavery, giving women the right to vote, civil rights, universal healthcare. They're always last to implement meaningful policy. Churchill was right, America eventually does the right thing once they've tried everything else first.

That wsn’t Churchill either.  The actual quote loosely attributed to Churchill is below, but there was only one source that the family feels is dubious.  Apart from that, this quote, or a version of it started years before Churchill.
