So 5 in 5 years.  An average of one per year.  (Actually, less than that, since the first two were outside of the 5 year criteria, but I gave you credit for them anyway). Far from any sort of an “epidemic”.

Las Vegas?  No.  Not an AR-15.  Can’t get into it with you on here, and it most likely won’t change your mind, but much of what you have read is not true.  This might help you if you listen withan open mind and do some searching on your own:

Five is five too many, were talking over a hundred people, look at the damage these types of guns does to somebody. They're lethal, they belong on a battlefield not on the streets.

They literally turn human organs and tissue into mincemeat.

No, they do not.  Are they deadly?  Yes.  But in addition to reading what one doctor wrote, search for ballistic tests.  Look at .30 cal rifle vs .223 rifle ballistics.  As well as .40 cal pistol; try to find .40/.45 rifle ballistics if you can.  You'll see Whatcom mean.

The rifle bullets have higher velocity and therefore more impact energy because their barrels are longer.  Pistols, the opposite is true.  I'll try to look some up for you when I land, internet sucks now.

But remember... ALL bullets will harm or kill.  The trick is not pulling the trigger while pointing a gun at a human.  Or NOT pointing a gun at a human, ever.  Prevents all sorts of problems, not the least of which is tissue damage.

Compared to a handgun. Guns like the AR-15 should be for combat not home defense.

ah so basically any rifle is what you want to ban, since the fps is pretty much the same between the 5.56 and the 30-06 (and the 30-06 hits a lot harder).

Well I'd say if you're not a hunter/soldier/farmer then why would anybody else need a rifle? A handgun(s) should suffice.

That is of course your choice.

Actually Greenland was Green and then was hit with Global Cooling which wiped out the settlers, sometime in the 1300's I think.

Anyway back then of course they were not woke to the situation, should have been producing more CO2.

Wow, fake news from the 1300's now.
