OP, I can understand your fiancee (future wife) for being upset at you for sending money to your friends in USA. Unless you are super wealthy and money is no an issue, your future spouse may be worried that you like to throw your money just like that.

Not that sending money to friends is a bad thing but it can be a bit of red flag in many aspects and not sure if immigration is not one of them. Anyways I would be very careful with those so-called friends that need your constant "help".  Will they still remain friends with you when you stop bankrolling them?
