Good day everyone,

I was denied entry into US in 2013 on B1/B2 visa in September 2013. On getting back to my home country, i lost my passport and i was unable to get it back. The visa was arranged for me by an agent and i don't have the most of the information he used for the document. I have gotten another passport  and i want to re apply for the visa. I need an help to know how i can go about it because i don't have the document used for me in the first and i don't even have an idea of the information used to package the visa.

Just file the application as normal. Though after being denied entry (what was the reason?) You have very tiny chances of getting another torusit visa.

And what do you mean you don't k ow what was on your first application? You don't know your personal info? Or did that agent made up things for you thinking it will be easier to get that first visa.

Depends why you were denied entry, you signed the application.

This is kinda weird, as others have implied. Presumably the information on the original application was true and factual? You shouldn’t need to “know” what was on there to fill in a new application. Go online and fill in a DS160 and book your appointment, it’s all explained on there. You don't need an agent. Just be honest in all your answers. If you don’t have a record of your lost passport number then just say that, if it’s asked for. If it had a US visa in it before, the US will be able to link it to your current application anyway, as well as to the denied entry of course.

If the reason you were denied entry has got something to do with possibly false information the agent submitted on your previous application, then you can probably expect a denial for the visa.

Applying tourist visa arranged by an agent sounds fishy to me and OP doesn't know what's in the application form? Didn't you sign it yourself?

Wonder if we will ever know, probably not.

There are some countries, particularly those with lower computer ownership/internet access, where agents do a roaring business convincing people that they are necessary for applying for visas. Usually they just take money for doing things the applicant can do themselves, but sometimes they do damage. Hard to tell which this might have been without further feedback.

They still need personal information from the applicant no? So why doesn't he know what's in the application form? I'm curious but only OP can answer it

The USA do not give you a good reason for denial on a tourist visa, must of the time the customs officer thinks you will overstay.

I can't see you getting another tourist visa, I know you would have to serve a ban for some years.

Consult some legal advice.
