I filled for N400 Application for naturalization on November 7th and I had my biometrics December 1st and my case has been under review since then, please who knows the time frame before getting an interview date here in Chicago? As I do need to travel to my Country but I’ll like to know before making any travel plans.

Thanks.

Be sure you meet all the physical presence/conditional residence requirements before you travel.

Thanks.

We applied in Sep and had Biometrics in Oct. Interview is scheduled in April. All in Chicago. We traveled out of the country in Feb for a few weeks.

a) Based on our experience, your interview would probably be in June-July.

b) If you do get your interview when you are out of the country, you can contact USCIS and have it rescheduled. Exact thing happened to someone in the Sep filers thread, and they got a new interview date four weeks away from the original date. I don't think it will hurt your application as long you had a valid reason to be unavailable. IMO, you need not put your life on hold for the interview.

Good luck.
