Hey guys, I just want to let you know I went for my interview today for adjustment of status. The interview went well and the officer was very engaging and thorough. He asked how we met,our names, address and few documents to confirm our marriage. I was approved immediately after the interview with a confirmation letter, and he told me to wait for the card in the mail box.

Just few minutes ago, I received an email confirmation that my card is being produced.

What additional evidence did you take to the interview? Congrats on getting through all this! Still waiting for our interview to be scheduled.

Thanks. I printed IRS certified 1040 (Tax return), our pictures while we were dating, joint bank statements, proving of insurance with our names and our wedding album. The only thing the officer checked was my passport, CA driver license, marriage certificate, birth certificate and our photos. He asked how we met ,our address and how many countries I have been to.

Just came  back from my interview. The interview itself went fine. Not too many questions.

- Took copy of both of our passports and Id's.

- Took copies of evidence of realtionship

- Asked us both what kind of work we do.

- Asked us how many kids we have and how old are they

- Asked me about my work and what I did in Singapore and Philippines

- Made copies of some of our photos.

We were not approved on the spot and the reason for that,my medical exam was expired on March of this year. He gave me new for I-639 and have a new test done and mail it in sealed envelope and mail it to his attention. Within 45 days from him receiving the exam a decision will be made. He said no need for another interview, just submit the exam.

SO HERE IS MY TAKE ON THIS:

IF YOU HAVE AN INTERVIEW AND YOUR MEDICAL EXAM ALREADY EXPIRED, BE SURE YOU HAVE NEW ONE PRIOR TO GOING TO THE INTERVIEW.
