Actually you are lucky to recieve an  RFE that fast / you are 1 of 6,000,000 applications

like others have said,  do a timeline

VJ community needs to know what country this concerns as they all are so different

if we are dealing with a high fraud country,  may take a lot longer / could even result in a denial the first application and need further AP or another application

this is not a fast process

but all are here to help

do the timeline

let us know your country

keep track of your country's portal and review comments on embassy interviews there

good luck

Hi thank you so much . I will update my timeline. I’m a new member so I didn’t really know anything about updatekng a timeline. But thank ou again

I filed the I-130 December 2016 for my wife in Nigeria. I went through the naturalization process and became a US citizen last October. The following month in November 2017, I received an RFE. Today is 90 days since the CSC received my response to the RFE. I contacted USCIS customer service and spoke to a Tier 2 representative. He told me it could take between three months to a year to get NOA2. I hope this information can help some of you.

Hi I petitioned for my husband . USCIS received it on March 1st 2018. I receive the NOA1 on March 12th. Then on March 16th, they sent the RFE, for the i130A. I responded to the RFE on March 20th. I am a US citizen. How long will it take to receive the NOA2? Thank you

Hi Camarasaran!

I've read all of the responses and it's alright, take your time updating your timeline!

Some important factors in the processing time of your petition are:
1) Your service center (this can be figured out by the first 3 LETTERS of your receipt number)
2) Which country your spouse is from
3) If you submitted all documents and evidence correctly (i.e: Bonafide marriage evidence, civil documents, signing i-130, etc)
4) If your spouse is residing in US or abroad

That’s insane . I hope it doesn’t take that long!!

No, it's not. It's normal. I waited 12 months. Hang in there. Immigration is NOT a quick and cheap process.
