Hey everyone, so I am about 90% done with my I-129 form, I just have a few questions that I am unsure about and wanted to see what you had put for these questions.

Part 1 #43: Have you ever filed Form I-129f for any other beneficiary? I answered no, and all the other fields became greyed out besides one, and that one asks: What action did USCIS take on Form I-129f  (for example, approved, denied, revoked?) This is a yes/no question, but since it didn't become greyed out do I have to choose an answer? I can't put N/A, or do I just leave it blank because no action was taken since I have never filed any of these forms before.

Part 2 Address : Does my fiance's physical address have to match the one that is written in his passport ? His mailing address is his previous address where he grew up ( his parents house) and his physical address is where he lives now (with his grandma).  Does this look suspicious that his mailing address is different than physical ?  If he went to college in a different city, and he rented a room with his friend there  for about 2 years excluding the summer, would I have to mention that in the I-129f and count it as residence ? He doesn't have any type of documentation or proof  that he lived there. His current street name was changed recently, which one do I put down? The one mentioned in his passport is the old name of the street, and if I put down the new name , do you think it would be questioned ?

Part 2 Employment history: if start/end dates aren't exact, is this okay?

Part 2 #37: Has you fiance ever been in the United States ? I answered noeverything is greyed out besides question 38h: Expiration of passport date or Travel document. Do I have to fill this in ? Doesn't this question pertain to him travelling here, because he didn't. Or does this question just ask for the expiration date of his passport and have nothing to do with him travelling here ?

Part 2 #51: Is your Fiance related to you ? The options are : yes, no, N/a fiance is my spouse. I chose no, but wouldn't "N/A fiance is my spouse" be an answer as well ?

Part 2 # 53 & 54 Have we met in the last 2 years, and explanation: There is a small space that asks to state the circumstance of the meeting .I wrote that my fiance picked me up from the airport on such and such date and we spent the summer together. But, I also wrote a "love story" letter describing how we met, and what we did each summer..so, would I be able to attach this as additional information to question 54 ? Are the pictures and passport stamps that show we have been in each others presence in the last two years considered as proof for this question? Meaning, would I have to label the pages with the pictures and our "love story" letter  as "additional information" for question 54?

P.S. Does it matter how I write USA? For instance, when writing what  country I live in I put : United States of America. But does it have to be written in a certain way? (such as U.S. , or U.S.A , or United States ? )

Sorry this is SO long, I'm just overthinking everything.

Thank you in advance !

Thank you in advance !

I'm not sure I'll be able to answer all questions, and of course these answers are from my own understanding and experience, but hopefully it'll be somewhat helpful. :)

If it's not grayed out, I would put N/A since the answer to part 1 of that question (have you ever filed before) is no. In general, I would try not to leave anything blank if it doesn't gray it out for you. I don't know if you are handwriting it or filling it out on the computer as a PDF, but as a PDF it sometimes won't even let you click in a box to even put N/A depending on your answers to previous questions. Anything that doesn't apply to you, though, you can put N/A.

If I remember correctly, it has you fill out a different physical/mailing address if different from the other, and if it's not different you check a box. If it's different, you have to put both of them. I don't think it necessarily throws up a red flag, but you certainly can't leave one out or put an invalid one.

Part 2 Employment history: if start/end dates aren't exact, is this okay?  Just try to be as accurate as possible. I would at least make sure you have the month and year exact, even if the day/date is a little off.

If the wording of this portion clarifies how to answer 38H based on the answer to the first part, follow that regardless of whether it's grayed out or not. For instance, if it says something like "If Yes (to the first part), answer questions 37 or 38 letters XX-XX", and you answered NO, then you wouldn't need to answer those specified questions.

Part 2 #51: Is your Fiance related to you ? The options are : yes, no, N/a fiance is my spouse. I chose no, but wouldn't "N/A fiance is my spouse" be an answer as well ?  No, he is not related to you. He is your fiancé, not your spouse. This question is pretty much to identify blood relation anyway, I think. You would put No, not N/A. Yes or No questions should be either yes or no, not N/A or anything else.

In my opinion, I wouldn't bother with the love story letter. If you have substantial evidence supporting your relationship otherwise, that just takes up space and is unnecessary. Focus on proof that you've met - passport stamps/plane tickets, photos, etc. Keep the explanation of how you met short and sweet. Just put who visited who, when, etc.

Håll ut, y'all.

Either type in 'not applicable' or leave blank.

Part 2 Address : Does my fiance's physical address have to match the one that is written in his passport ?

No. People move all the time.

His mailing address is his previous address where he grew up ( his parents house) and his physical address is where he lives now (with his grandma).  Does this look suspicious that his mailing address is different than physical ?

No.

If he went to college in a different city, and he rented a room with his friend there  for about 2 years excluding the summer, would I have to mention that in the I-129f and count it as residence ?

Yes. All addresses he has lived in.

He doesn't have any type of documentation or proof  that he lived there. His current street name was changed recently, which one do I put down? The one mentioned in his passport is the old name of the street, and if I put down the new name , do you think it would be questioned ?

Either is fine. Besides, if you get asked, can easily said the street name was changed.

Part 2 Employment history: if start/end dates aren't exact, is this okay?

A guess-timate is fine. I hardly remember the dates of my second last job.

You can answer this question. Passport expiry is very general.

Part 2 #51: Is your Fiance related to you ? The options are : yes, no, N/a fiance is my spouse. I chose no, but wouldn't "N/A fiance is my spouse" be an answer as well ?

Answer is 'no'. Fiancé is not spouse. Don't even claim that because your I-129F might be denied because they thought you're married.

You can add a separate sheet. That's fine. Just include your name, fiance's name, date the sheet and sign.

Are the pictures and passport stamps that show we have been in each others presence in the last two years considered as proof for this question?

Photos are secondary proofs. Does help illustrate your meeting with him.

Meaning, would I have to label the pages with the pictures and our "love story" letter  as "additional information" for question 54?

P.S. Does it matter how I write USA? For instance, when writing what  country I live in I put : United States of America. But does it have to be written in a certain way? (such as U.S. , or U.S.A , or United States ? )

Easiest way is to write USA. Sometimes the fields don't allow any symbols.

Sorry this is SO long, I'm just overthinking everything.

Thank you in advance !
