A question for I-751 and N-400 combo filler here:

Are both of your I-751 and N-400 cases being transferred to National Benefits Center (NBC) Lee's Summit MO?

I'm preparing paper work for my infopass appointment and I noticed that both my I-751 and N-400 case were transferred to NBC sometime in 2018.

I filled I-751 in June 2017 and N400 in July 2018. Both cases are still pending.

Based on some search on this forum, it seemed that USCIS transfers I-751 and N-400 to NBC to prepare combo interviews. But the most frustration part here is that there no way you can check the processing time for NBC from USCIS website.

Based on this thread, east side N-400 fillers are transferred to Yakima for interview. But I haven't received any notice about my cases being transferred to Yakima office. My guess is that both my I-751 and N-400 are stuck with NBC.  This is sooooo frustrating...

Keep us updated, i think you will receive the interview letter this month for november interview because they are interviewing june filers now

The question that I always wonder is: Is  the processing time for combo filers longer than that for N400 solo filers?

Does anybody know if any I751 pending filer took only 15-16 months to finish the N400?

So I had my info pass appointment today. The officer told me because I have filed N 400 with pending I751, my case goes to a different process.

He’s not sure how much longer it’s gonna take. Everything is up in the air is what he said...

He gave me another I551 Stamp till June 2020. He told me my interview should be done sometime before that.

I asked him will It be a combo interview at Yakima office as I lived on east side, he said it could be combo and it could be separate interviews. And the location might be different.

So to sum up, the only useful info he gave me was that combo filler might take longer time but without any other useful details.

Any idea what happens next? My status now says “we are taking longer than usual...”

 Estimated completion is November 2019.

The estimated completion date is not accurate most of the time.  When I filed my n400, the date came and went and I got that same message.

Update: Calling tier 2 officer didn’t work. They gave me the same answer. At this point, maybe contacting the senator is better.

Sorry to hear that. What was the answer?

They said they are sorry the Case is outside of normal processing times but the N-400 won’t be looked at until I-751 is processed. So all we could do now is to wait. I am tired of their at this point - when I called them before they said filing n-400 won’t affect the I-751 but now clearly it is the problem.

What about calling about our I751 instead of N400?

I think I am going to change the game.

I filed on November 4, 2017 (it's almost 23 months!!).

As of today, the CSC processing time is up to 20.5 months.

I think, based on what I remember, you probably filed in October 2017, which is 24 months!

Just try to push to the I751 and forget about the N400.

I sent already an e-request (with no "immediate" answer, so I guess that somebody was obliged to open my file!).

Next, infopass.

Next-next, senator.

That's my flow.

And the N400 battle, see you next year.

I have done everything. I sent in at least 4 e-requests, same answers. For 2 requests, they completely ignored them. They did not give me ANY ANSWERS.

For senator help, I did it back in June. No response.

For Congresswoman help, I turned in the form and they got back to me EXACTLY WHAT USCIS SAID ,THAT BOTH CASES WILL BE PROCESSED AT THE SAME TIME. However we all now know it is not the case.

I think they are playing with us. I do not know what to do at this point. I did all the things, months ago. Now I do it again knowing they don’t give a , but we will see.
