Hi Felicie, I am in very similar situation (I751 filed in November 2017!!; N400 filed in October 2018). 

I wrote to them last December (I used the Non-delivery request trick so they wrote me back!). They sent me an email stating that they will adjudicate both cases (ROC/naturaliz) together.

I made Infopass appointmemt (the trick here is to enter uscis website online at 3am) and the immigration officer confirmed that I  will have combo interview. 

For combo filers, the ONLY thing that we can do is get a temporary I751 stamp on your passport every 6 months or 1 year. It validates your Green Card status so you can work and travel.

To get the stamp, make an Infopass appointment online (3am works).

wait. That's all you can really do. I have also been waiting 20 months for I-751. But the thing is that once you apply N400 your I-751 is "frozen" and it's only going to get processed when your N400 combo interview comes.

Try early in the morning. Also if you get an info pass for another day but want to attend a different day. Just go there and change your appointment on the infopass machine. Good luck

I waited for my i751 for 27 months and N400 for 17 months. Seattle office is very backlog.

I got one finally when someone cancelled. Do you know if they will take away my green card at InfoPass appointment?

My case just jumped from Jan 2020 ETA to May 2020. That's estimated case completion time.

 

But then it says Estimated wait time: 10 months.

 

Getting so tired of this. Any idea which ETA is correct?

I think that on average now it's taking 16 months.

It used to be 14 for a long time, but last month, they pushed it to 16 months.  Keep fingers crossed. Mine estimated date of completion is Feb 2020 but I don't trust them.

I entered USCIS website online and 3 am and it worked. lots of spots available.

It's like cracking the code of the universe with the government agencies around here. The inefficiency is ridiculous.

Can confirm, after speaking to an Immigration Officer this morning, that the Seattle Field Office is incredibly backlogged. They had to push ETA's out 2-3 months for each N-400 application because they simply were unable to sustain the volume. He was empathetic but did state that the only thing which can be done at the present time is, indeed, to hurry up and wait
