@ramb876When you move make sure you follow up with USCIS as much as possible.  It took them three months to update my address.  Interestingly, I moved from San Francisco to Seattle.  Good luck with everything!!

Thanks! Yeah, I’ve to follow up to make sure that the address has been updated. I think egov.uscis gives you activity updates. To date USCIS has been diligent with address updates *fingers crossed*

How long does it take to receive back the Certificate of Neutralization? I had received the passport and card few weeks ago but no certificate yet.

according to department of state, it can take up to 4 weeks after you receive your passport to receive the certificate. you can call them after that https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/need-passport/status.html

how long the passport process took from you?

did you receive the new passport or the old one ?

This might be a long shot but have people try to complain to Congressman/Congresswoman, Senators in their district about Seattle office? I don't understand why some places have multiple USCIS offices (like LA where it takes less than 3 months to complete citizenship), and Seattle office that serves almost the entire state??

LA County alone is home to 30% more people than the entire state of WA and the proportion of immigrants/people susceptible to deal with USCIS down there is much higher than WA.

Did any July/ August 2020 applicant receive the interview notification lately? Not seeing much updates in this group lately. Hope the Seattle office is still processing the cases at least at the same pace, if not quicker.

I get a feeling that the processing has slowed down. July 2020 filer here and looking at the Tracker Google sheet, only one person there has got a interview notice in the last entire month. Looks like Jun 2020 folks already got interview notices last month and then the progress has stalled. I know that it is a small sample, but we used see more consistent progress in the past with 1-2 folks getting interview notice each week.

I wrote to my Cogress rep. Got a reply from their office saying they cannot do anything about my case since it is still within Seattle office's processing window (18 - 20.5 months). And that they have been talking to the Director of USCIS about this long wait time.
