A lot of people from 2020 are being impacted by the COVID shutdown of the Federal Records Center in Lee's Sumit. Many of the paper A-files for these cases have been archived by USCIS at this location. The location is still operating under COVID protocols which is significantly delaying cases. Not saying you are necessarily one of them but it is a known issue right now impacting 2020 N400 cases.

I hear you, mainly April and May 2020 fillers.  That being said Seattle is still one of the slowest offices.

This whole process has been very frustrating. Had to changed life and travel plans multiple times due to extremely slow processing at Seattle office. I have friends in San Diego and Texas that filed their applications months after me and they are citizens now.

Its to the point of being ridiculous. Its even more frustrating seeing that USCIS selectively chose to skip those 2 months. Apparently its the same issue across the country not just Seattle.
I’ve asked for a tier 2 callback. Let’s see what the officer says. Worst case in 3 more months it’ll be outside normal processing time and I can raise a SR similar to what I did for completing my biometrics.

Filed July 2020. Got a notification yesterday that my interview date is being mailed to me.

Congratulations and Thanks for the update. Could you please update the spreadsheet at your convenience? Really helps us to estimate a timeline who are still waiting for the interview.

Nonono,,,he filed after 5 years of green card,he came on dv lottery, our cases are 100%similar,the only difference is that I filed about 7months earlier,

@Garfield85oh boy.  That really sucks for us folks who filed last year and are still waiting.  Thinking I'll have to go to my congress rep and file a complaint about the Seattle office.  They may or may not do something but it doesn't hurt.  It's really frustrating!!

Mine too. Mine said 2months then I updated my documents as they were no longer current (5 years of taxes). And it switched. 🙇🏼‍♀️ If I don’t have a date by the end of November I’m going to call in, since that was the ETA when I submitted everything.

That’s not a bad idea. This slow is nuts. Pandemic or not.

Good luck. I filed in May 2020 and I got an automated response for my SR last week that my case is still within processing time. Seattle’s processing time is 22 months per the USCIS site.

Luckily I’m moving back to the Bay Area next week and hopefully the case will be transfered to SF office with it’s more reasonable time of 19.5 months. I can then file an out of processing time SR by end of Nov.

@ramb876When you move make sure you follow up with USCIS as much as possible.  It took them three months to update my address.  Interestingly, I moved from San Francisco to Seattle.  Good luck with everything!!
