My child was in same situation, when you apply for passport you can apply along with your passport , that way you dont need to send original naturalization certificate twice

Cool. Thanks for the info. I will file for their passport with me. Can I also file for N600 for my kids after they get their passport?

Congratulations! I am glad you are done with USCIS. Did you ever find out why they cancelled your initial interview?

Congratulations. I hope they don’t slow down again. My “estimated completion time” in my account has been hovering between 3-4 months for the last 8 months. It’s frustrating.

Congratulations! My estimated time is 15 days but I have not received any notice lately so I expect this will change to the "we are taking longer than expected" message. We will see, I hope I get this done at least by the EOY.

Did I make a mistake? When applied for a passport, I did not submit my name change from the court, as it was already changed during naturalization and my certificate have the new name. Should I also submitted my court order of name change? I listed in other names section, my old name with old family name, but did not attach my name change court order.

I filled 8 months back, "estimated time" is 13 months - it would mean my total wait time in the N400 queue is 21 months?!?!

Did it just turn to 13 months? If so, maybe congrats, you have an interview setup. It turn to 13 month as a standard from the time they set you for interview. Did you check the documents tab to see if you have interview letter?

I think it has been 13 months for quite sometime. My documents tab has "Bio reuse" notice from 12/14/2020, that's it. Nothing else.

Yes it’s just a projected timeline. I’ve been waiting a year now and now has said estimated time to completion “3 months” for the last 6 months. My original estimated time to completion when I submitted my paperwork was for Nov 2021 so I’m determined not to worry until Dec 2021…

Hi everyone.  I'm so happy to have found this community to follow up, support, and congratulated prospective citizens.

I just filled up the sheet with my case.

My case is a little different and I would appreciate any info you may have regarding moving to Washington after applying in a different state.

Here is my timeline:

  1. File/receipt date - 9/15/2020.  Filed in San Francisco, California field office
  2. Biometric reuse - 12 /15/2020
  3. I moved to Olympia, Washington on 4/2/2021.  I changed my address but for some reason it wasn't updated on my profile till June 30th 2021.  I had to call USCIS multiple times for they to open a service request on it.
  4. Interview cancelled/descheduled - 6/30/2021.  I called USCIS and they mentioned the San Francisco field office was about to schedule my interview 😨 but noticed my address hadn't been updated to Washington.
  5. I called USCIS and they mentioned I'm inline for an interview.
  6. Anyone have any experience with citizenship application after moving.  My fear is my application being pushed to the back of the line.
