Hey folks, how soon can I get info pass appointment in Seattle office? Do they allow walk in for 1-155 stamp?  I have an emergency to travel in 15 days and need a stamp in my passport as soon a possible.  I have my new 10 year GC but it has error in "resident since date " I am afraid to leave the US with an error in my current GC. Please advise. Thanks

Hi Dantrolene,

What I did for the Infopass is I entered online at 3:00am (Seattle time). By miracle, there were many open spots ONLY in one day (which was like 3 business days ahead).

I tried to do a walkin in Tukwilla office, and they told me that it was not possible...they actually told me this "trick" about visiting the USCIS website at 3 in the morning.

Hope this helps!

Awesome thanks. I think I still can get info pass stamp while I have my incorrect GC or will they confiscate it from me ?

I have had 2 stamps so far in my passport (all done in Tukwilla, Seattle) and they have not taken mine away.

You may want to ask them beforehand so you are on the safe side!

The info pass website is weird. It's not letting me to navigate other days. Also it doesn't say if there is anything available or not. I tried many browsers and all the same.   What do you think of this?

It's about the time when you are checking. It's now 1.30pm in Seattle! Once you check at 3 am (6 am EST), you will see how magically the website works and there are many open spots to choose.

Set the alarm clock early, wake up early and the miracle happens!

:)

I got a prometric appointment today and it says my case completion is may 2020. Is tha a final date or things might get faster than that sometimes? Is there anything to expedite it?

There is nothing you can do to expedite the processing time. The only ones who can are members of the U.S. military or military spouses on their spouse’s government orders. As of the completion time it’s not 100% accurate so don’t rely too much on it. Chances are it will be done before that unless the backlog intensifies again to push processing times further or so.

hey guys... my appointment is at 8AM-- do you know how early I can get there?  I believe check-in is 15 minutes before the appointment, but I'd really like to get in there at least an hour early.

I don't know how early but my advice is to bring cash for the parking lot! (unless you are planning to walk or take the bus). THey don't take debit/credit card.

It happened to me. I came there almost with few extra minutes and..almost have to leave the car in the middle of the street and run inside!

So bring caaaaaash!
