Good morning! Received our notice this morning that my husband's oath ceremony will be June 4th in Seattle! Very excited we don't have to go back to Portland and that it's not too far out. His naturalization appointment was May 19th in Portland so Oath is scheduled for about 2.5 weeks after, not too bad!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that my interview in Portland went super smooth. Thank you God and this forum for all of your support.

My experience with USCIS in Portland was great. Office is way smaller than Tukwila and parking in not a hike either. I checked in at 7:55 am, my appointment was at 8:10 am. Security was super fast. By 8:09 am I was called for my interview. First question the officer asked was for me to think about same day oath option or if I wanted to wait for a time available in Seattle. Before I could answer she said let me know at the end lets get started. The actual questions literally took 6 minutes.

Civics Interview questions:

1. There are four amendments to the Constitution about who can vote. Describe one of them.

2. What happened at the Constitutional Convention.

3. What is the capital of your state.

4. What is the capital of the United States.

5. What ocean is on the West Coast of the United States.

6. Who lived in America before the Europeans arrived.

Reading part:

How many U.S. Senators are there?

Writing part:

There are 100 one hundred senators.

Question about me:

Do you still live at such address.

Are you still married to husband.

Do you still work at

Do you owe any taxes.

Have you ever questions (from n400).

Then she simply said congratulations see you back at 1:30 pm? Of course I said yes see you then. Officer walked me out and that was that. Good luck to all.

Hi guys!! I had interview may 19 Wednesday. When I showed up after checking in and wait for my number to be called. Some body maybe officers open door and she said your interview is canceled. We reschedule you and let you know. It’s been week now and no update. I read this 40 pages of this topic and didn’t find my experience. Do you have any idea what can I do. Some people say  file lawsuits against uscis will work and they speeding my case. Applied December 2019 bio December 2019 . Any advice or experience will appreciate

I’m sorry about your experience. It might be worth to hire an immigration attorney for your case if it’s still possible. Hopefully you get your reschedule notice soon

Hi guys, so I just went into my uscis account to check on my progress (I do this often even though it's unlikely there will be movement anytime soon, but you just never know) and it looks like the system is down. I also noticed that no one from this group got any interview notice this week....discouraging

Hi I have a question. Husband is going through some health issues. Can I show up at the interview without him? What should I do to be able to pass the N400 without my husband being with me?

Thank you!
