Hi guys, who have luck to reach out to a Tier 2 officer. I need help please, when you ask for a tier 2 officer, do you get transferred directly? Or do they tell you we will schedule a time for you and call you back?

I was told they will call me back within 14 days. Has this been always the case?

When I called in I was given a timeframe (15 days) when the Tier 2 officer would call back and the number they would call from. It was closer to the end of that range when I received a callback. If I remember correctly, it was the 13th or 14th day from when I initially called in.

That makes me feel better! Thanks for sharing!

It depends where do you live. King county in Seattle, the guys reported a one day name change if you go earlier. Other counties may need to go  fill out the paperwork, and they will set you up for hearing in the next day if you filled out your forms early on the day. You can do your hearing in zoom for some counties. If you decided to do so, make sure they have everything they need. For me, I went back and forth three times as they forget something every time. One of my zoom hearing got cancelled, because they forgot to copy my id. It would be easier if you are in the court for sure for hearing. For the fees, I think it's per county, so check your county court website. For me, it was about $120, if I remember right.

No name change in Seattle interviews. Do it before your interview in the court, and have the certificate with you. If you do it after your interview, I heard in this forum that it can be expensive.

I live Renton And we have interview on May 11

I  Ask for change the name for wife and I   when did  all filling form !

but I'm not sure it can done before interview  ?

Yes, you will need to go to your county court. Is Renton King county? Or south King county? If it's King county, I would go to King county court in Seattle early, and you may get your name change certificate the same day. Then you take that to the interview, and the officer will make the name change for you. If you did not do that, you can not make name change, and you can ask the officer to ignore your request.

Hi guys!

I'm that lucky person who filed in February 2020 and got my interview appointment scheduled already. But! My spouse didn't :( Did anyone experience the same? If yes, what did you do?

Yes, I have seen this before in this forum. Is your interview in Seattle or Portland?
