That's where the National Benefits Center is. I received something from them in this process. I think it was just the receipt. I wonder what you could be receiving at this stage of the process? Do let us know please!

It was for my sister as her work permit came.

We just got the interview notification email today, 13 days earlier than predicted on the sheet. Updated the row!

Nice, congratulations. You could have your interview at the end of the month.

Thanks! Hope so, although expecting early May. We have a planned trip out of town (but not international) later in May, so am hoping we dodged that bullet.

Regarding to applying for a first-time passport. Do I need to submit a photocopy of the Certificate of Naturalization and driver license? (translates to Fedex office/UPS trip before heading to the Post Office?)

I made a copy of mine because they keep the original and send it to the passport service. You’ll get the original back just after you get your passport. But in the meantime it’s good to have a copy of the certificate.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

@ReasonableOrange8 Did you have ab interview today? Any updates?

Yes! Passed the first 6 civics questions, took the Oath of Allegiance and received the Certificate of Naturalization. I wanna thanks all great members in this post for helping me!

I walked in 1 minute before the scheduled time. Spent probably 5 minutes lining up and checking in. Then waited upstairs for 5 minutes before going in the interview. There was a room with 6 cubicles. Zoom interview lasted for 15 minutes. Another wait for X minutes. Oath lasted for 5 minutes. Walked out after 1 hour 15 minutes.

So tips for photocopying: do not go to Walgreens nearby they don't do copying. Go to UPS in South Center.
