I recently applied for naturalization. I received my family based green card almost 6 years ago. My biometric was taken in US Embassy of  my country of origin. I entered USA for the first time as a LPR. So really never needed to provide my fingerprint in USCIS office here in USA. But I traveled overseas couple times in the meantime and gave finger print at airport. Did anyone receive ‘biometric reuse notice’ with a similar situation of mine? Thanks

I was in the same situation. I had an IR-1 visa so arrived here as an LPR and did not have to do AOS or ROC. The N-400 was my first interaction with USCIS since getting my visa. So I had to do biometrics but it was pre-COVID. I imagine you will have to do yours also here.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

uuggghhh!    I was supposed to have interview today, but it didn't happen. I went there and they said the will reschedule my interview (hopefully within a month) because i had an international travel within last 14 days. I showed them my covid negative report post travel but that didn't help.

People, here is an update and a question:

I got a notification on March 3rd that they rescheduled my interview, but the interview letter wasn't uploaded yet( strange) to online account, so i called up USCIS today and the office told me that my interview has been scheduled for Mar 15 at 06:30 hours (meaning 6.30 am in the morning). Anyone else got it so early? I am wondering if that's normal OR if it's a scheduling mistake.

Question for people who filed their N400 based on GC you obtained via your job, what documents are you taking for your naturalization interview? Here's what I am gathering to take but don't know what I'm missing:

- Interview notification letter

- Tax transcripts from 2014-2019

- Passport

- Green Card

- Selective Service document

- My resume

What else? I was wondering if I needed my marriage certificate but not sure if needed since my application is not tied to marriage.

Thank you. It's comforting to know that they schedule before 8 am. I was worried that they may have made a mistake in scheduling time which might further delay my interview.

I did see a 6.30 am appointment last summer after the COVID closure. I assumed it was an attempt to make up for lost time and so they were starting earlier to get through as many people as possible. Looks like they are still doing those early appointments. Hope you don't have too far to travel to the USCIS office!

Our's was employment based too but I was asked for the marriage certificate. No harm is carrying it.

these status messages don't matter at all. My interview is on mar 15, yet the estimated completion date shown to me is in 2022. Go by what we have in our great tracker.

Please do share back with us whether the oath of allegiance was administered the same day as your interview.

It was noticed once you have an interview, the numbers go up and they just do not represent anything. I did some analysis, and I have around 103 days to get a notice and 130 days to interview 😆 I will share my analysis.
