Finally interview scheduled! 3 weeks later than expected in the excel sheet. Even 5 weeks later than my own expectation. All interviews have 1 months notice as we have seen here, my notice is 6 weeks

So, here was my experience today.    My appointment was at 1.50 pm and the letter states you must not arrive more than 15 minutes before this time due to COVID and capacity levels in the buildi

I had my N-400 interview this morning and the officer who did my interview also conducted a one-on-one oath ceremony. I received my Naturalization certificate within 20 minutes and was on my way. Good

my ETA time changed to we are taking longer than expected since Dec 22. Anyone has the same situation?

Yes mine changed as well since early December. Case completion date still says January 2019 which won’t happen as well either way. If we’re lucky we will get notifications this month for February interview or maybe next month for March interview. We have already waited more than a year, I guess a month again or 2 shall also come to pass. I fear for those who are filing now their wait times will only get worse if this trend continues.

8/21/2014: Received NOA 1. I-130, I-485, I-765 in mail.

8/25/2014: Received biometrics in mail. Scheduled for 9/8/2014

9/24/2014: EAD approved. 36 Days!

10/01/2014: EAD mailed.

10/03/2014: Received EAD card.

10/14/2014: I-485 moved to testing and interview.

1/28/2015: Interview scheduled for 3/4/2015.

1/31/2015: Received interview notice.

3/4/2015: Interview completed and APPROVED!

Same here. If they don't do anything to address long lines of people waiting at major offices, the wait time will inevitably grow. And with the current climate, I doubt they do! My wife still has two more years to become eligible for naturalization. I am worried that by then, we may look at 2-3 years wait times, which is really depressing.

I know - I really dont understand why Seattle is so behind. They should just transfer it either to Portland or Spokane - I am very much willing to go there.

Here is the question for you all. 

I am planning to get rip of my Vietnamese passport after getting naturalized. I know that the US does not allow you to have 2 citizenships. Does anyone know what do i need to do regard my Viet passport situation?
