Well l also have contacted Senator Cantwell, Congressman Denny Heck, Ombudsman, many inquiries, and nothing. I'm really happy for you GermanG.  You gave me hope.

The week before I received the RFE letter I sent an e-request for I751, another one for N400 (both for outside normal range), I emailed Senator Cantwell and US reoresentative Smith (he is in my district) and cslled USCIS to make an infopass for the I551. When I called for thr Infopass, I also complained. Something of all may have worked!😄

Did they give you an I551 appointment? We called earlier this week and they told us to call again after June 4th.

Nope. They asked me for my employer's letter and even though I emailed it back, they called me and said it was not an emergency. At least, when I called for the Infopass, I complained about the combo situation.

What I did that probably helped was to contact the Senator Cantwell. Her office called me back after the RFE to follow up.😃

OMG Congrats!!! You gave me hope!!!!!!!!!!! I thought because of RFE, I would have to wait longer for them to review the documentation I sent in but it was not the case for you!

Did you contact Senator Cantwell before you received the RFE or after? I contacted her before and wouldn't expect her office to keep track of my case.

Thank you! I contacted her office on May 12.

The RFE letter was sent on May 15 and I received on May 18. It came from USCIS Boise, ID.

I sent the reply to RFE (the mail containing supporting evidence) on Wednesday May 20. It arrived on Tuesday 26th.

Somebody from her office called me on Friday May 22. They said they will inquiry this week with USCIS (to follow up).

My GC got approved today.

Hi Guys,

I received my RFE also from the Idaho field office in the first week of May and sent them the documents requested the following week. Since then I have not heard back from them. My friend sent his last week and got approved the same week they received it. I also saw someone here on the group who got approved the same week. Is there anyone who is also waiting to hear back from the Idaho field office since sending their RFE

Can you share what type of documents you sent?
I am planning to send:

  • Life Insurance policies with both of us as beneficiary
  • Work-related benefits with both of us as beneficiary
  • Lease agreement; utility bill, electricity bill, cellphone bill, internet bill
  • Car insurance with both insured
  • Pictures of us travelling the last 3 years; will include hotel and flight if I can find them
  • Tax returns

Anything else that I should add?

Hi Dani,

I included these documents:

-Cover letter with 2 tables of contents: 1) showing all the exhibits (evidence) and 2) timeline of events that happened during the last 18 months of our marriage (trips, etc).

-Income tax returns 2018 and 2019 (we filed quickly and paid taxes because I was afraid of showing unpaid taxes for RFE. I included the checks that we sent for  the IRS)

-Mortgage  payments (different months and years after I filed N-400)

-Statements for our joint bank accounts (I went in person to BECU and Bank of America to ask for official letters with letterhead and signatures. Sometimes online statements don't show both names).

-Copies of our wills (signed by our lawyer)

-Statement of homeowners' insurance, cars' insurance and umbrella insurance.

-Screenshots from my Facebook page (I indicated, like I did for the I-751 who was in the photo and where it was taken)

-city of Seattle business license (with both names printed)

-Application for another house loan showing both names. Same with additional commitment for title (escrow papers)

-E-mails with Airlines’ Confirmation Receipts for Joined Trips

-Examples of random emails sent between us.

-Gym membership showing couple's shared membership (I printed several years and months).

-Additional photos (besides the ones from Facebook). The idea was to cover all the time elapsed between N-400 filing and now.

-Letters from our employers stating that we know we are an established relationship (marriage)

-Letter from my employer with letterhead showing my position (stating that I am in good conditions).

-Copies of our driver licenses (making sure our addresses are the same)

-Random examples of bills/statements demonstrating same address.

I was a total of 696 pages. I sent them via USPS Priority (Certified option). It got approved in 1 day.

I scanned the whole folder and kept the PDF just in case once they ask for the N-400 interview.

Hope this helps!

Hey hope everyone is doing well! I have a question. I have both my I-751 and my N-400 pending. However, my I-751 just got approved today and card was in production yesterday. I thought I was going to have both cases adjudicated together. Apparently,  it's not the case. Does anyone of you experience this? Not sure how long I have to wait for N-400(pending since December. 2019)

Let me know what you guys think!

Thanks!

Great news that your ROC has been approved! I think you still have a long wait for your N-400, however. I’m 3 months ahead of you for N-400 and still no word. I’m not a combo filer, however.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

(long time lurker, first time poster)

I also received RFE early May. Sent a bunch of documents back last week. Haven't heard anything yet.

Have any of you got confirmation that the Biose ID office received your documents?

Does the case status online change at all?

Mine is still "Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction" since last August.

If you haven't already, maybe try checking the USCIS case status online, which is more up-to-date for I-751 than My USCIS account.

We are also longtime silent visitors 😁  And we are also on the same combo boat. Applied I-751 July 2017 and N400 in July 2018. We also received an RFE for I-751 in mid-May from Boise.  But our case status on the My USCIS account is still out of date and still shows that the case is transferred to the local office. And we fell out of habit to check the other site online case status daily.  We just happened to check the online case status about 5 days after RFE date was post-marked, and we still saw no status update at that time. And then we checked again like 2 weeks after the RFE post-marked date, and saw that the status was changed to RFE sent. So the moral of the story is to check the case status online often for I-751.

Further, we never received any physical copy in the mail. So we called the customer service right away to inquire. We realized the RFE letter may have been lost in the mail. Our mail from USCIS was lost on previous occasions too, so I don't know if this problem is just specific to us.

So during our first customer service call, I requested a digital copy instead of continuing to wait for the potentially lost physical copy in the mail. But the first person said they can't give me a digital copy and suggested to fill out a form to report lost mail. So I filled it out, but the form said it could take up to 30 days to hear back. So I called again hoping to talk to a second-tier officer, and luckily this time they transferred me right away to a very helpful second-tier officer and they emailed us a digital copy within minutes. Had we waited for the online lost mail request to be processed, I think we would have gone past the RFE deadline. So another moral of the story is to stay on top of things.
