Are they still dumping cases in Portland and Yakima?

If they aren't processing fast enough their only choice is to dump cases to nearby offices.

Well I’m going to include these figures in my letter to Maria Cantwell this weekend.

My biggest gripe is that according to the online estimate I won’t be a citizen in time to vote in the presidential election. I filed as soon as I was eligible (September 2019) primarily for this reason. And I will be denied the chance to vote purely because I live in western Washington. If I lived in any other part of the country, if I fell under the jurisdiction of any other USCIS office, I would be able to vote. I’ve done nothing wrong. I work hard, pay my taxes, never been in trouble with the law, never even had a parking ticket. But because USCIS Seattle is so inept I am being punished.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

This November vote is so important to me too. A big part of the reason I want to become a citizen is because of this vote. It means a lot to me. I'm already missing the primary in Washington state. My husband has already voted and mailed out the envelope. It's upsetting that I couldn't vote for the candidate I supported even though in other states my case would have finished long ago.

You can't blame me to think that this is a new way of voter suppression. Over the last few years they added a full year of wait time on Seattle N400 filers, meaning a reduced full year worth of potential voters.

So I want to go back home to visit between March 15th-30th. I haven't been back home for 4 years because I keep waiting for an interview thinking it would be soon...

Does anyone know how much time Seattle office gives you from the day they send the notice to the day of interview?

I don't want to miss my interview but also don't want to waste my money neither...

I got the interview appointment letter online 5 weeks before the interview.

Applied for N400 in May 2019, Expected date of completion says August 2020, Finger print done in June

I received a letter saying "interview scheduled" status is showing testing and interview status.

How long after this email will i get a letter for interview? How much time will they give between the interview and date they send the mail in Seattle?

Also I heard they processing folks to Yakima now a days?

Please let me know.

When is your interview scheduled and which local office will you have to go?

Slow naturalization = fewer votes from immigrants = fewer votes from minorities

I really dont care about that point. Im september 28, 2018 filer. Slow naturalization for me cannot see my family, cannot travel, cannot find government jobs, stuck in this process, constantly interrogation at immigration, feel different and nervous even tho you did not do anything.. tbh voting is my last thing to think.
