I filed USCIS Ombudsman report, contacted US senators/representatives, my immigration lawyer and asked on line (via e-request) and in-person (Infopass).

I am thinking that if the countdown for N-400 reaches zero days (for me it will be on December 16, this year) and I haven't heard anything, I imay file a writ of mandamus procedure. I ran out of patience. I am also tired of reading non facts and only rumors that are not helpful.

Same here. I'm waiting for the results of inquiry. If I receive the same generic reply, I'll file too. Called USCIS customer service and they were not helpful at all. The person on the phone was pretty much like "well, I don't know why it's stuck at NBC but you gotta wait and oh btw we don't have a time frame for NBC so good luck!"................. And he passive-aggressively blamed me for applying N400 before the result of I-752 even though I was legally eligible to do so. The guy was super unhelpful and did not provide any useful answer.

Last time I did the inquiry they just sent me a generic email telling me that the two cases would be adjudicated together. Sure, but then why is my I751 still stuck at NBC? If NBC doesn't send it over to local office to interview and get it approved, how am I gonna do the N400? I bet they are gonna reply back and say the two cases will be adjudicated together and then nothing happens. I did not want to do writ of mandamus. But it's looking more and more likely that there might not be any other options.

2015-03-23 AOS filed

2015-12-29 AOS approved

2017-10-03 I-751 filed

2018-10-02 N400 filed

2020-07-16 I-751 & N400 approved. Sworn in as a US citizen.

2020-07-16 Registered to vote & applied for passport

2020-07-20 Voted!

I am still hopeful that the only US senator that replied and promised to help me (Cantwell) can put some attention in my case. Who helps you, though, depends on the district where you live.

I am anxious to see what happens after the countdown plummets to zero.

I wish more combo filers shared their experience in the forum.

I still have not received the letter, just checked the copy of the letter online dated December 5.

Completion date still says december 2019.

Check your USCIS account.

Thank you cherry03. One more question if I can, when your case was transferred in October, did your completion time change or stay the same?

We haven't received a notification stating where it was transferred to. I assume it's Portland because we live in Pierce county. Did you receive a notification on where your case was transferred to?

Just FYI, Maria Cantwell is one of two US senators for the state of Washington, and as such, she represents the entire state electorate.
