I was wondering about your progress. Still no news? I just don’t understand how every other USCIS office on the country can get through this process so much faster. It’s exactly the same process, but they are months and months faster elsewhere. I could understand a few weeks differentiation between offices but almost a year? Ridiculous.

No news what-so-ever! I am really frustrated with the Seattle office. Its not like FBI is over-worked or some other agency is lagging. Its just Seattle which is so backlogged.

Hi all,

First comment on this thread as I came from the July 2019 filers thread which hard to track activity as the field offices are so different from what we know.  So was reading everyone's comments and feeling just as frustrated by my wife just received an email notification stating "Case Status: Testing and Interview" so logged into Case Status site:

Then I logged into myUSCIS and noticed a bit more detail regarding the civics test.

I read that as unless you've filed within this month which should not apply to most of us on this grueling wait, still will be taking the 2008 version of the test.   Here are the URLs behind the links for the test versions in the snippet:

2020 -- https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/crc/M_1778.pdf

2008 -- https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/questions-and-answers/100q.pdf

Will keep you posted when we recieve the notice with the interview details.  Good luck everyone and hope you all hear back soon as well.

Congratulations, and thank you for sharing the update. What date is the interview?

I find it surprising that they mentioned "On December 9, 2020, we scheduled an interview" because it's still December 8th in all parts of the United States.

Well on second thoughts, the December 9 date may be because these interviews may be happening at their global locations too, so the system must be following the Sun wherever it is.

They did not provide the date of the interview on the case updates themselves so will be awaiting to see those details on the interview notice.

Haha yeah, maybe its the end of the IO's shift and they wanna get these done.  I also noticed a lot of the USCIS websites are being updated today like the office closures, etc.  Not sure if there's something special about today and hope more people get good updates soon.

:) we are in the same boat. Ya, in october, there was a flurry of June applicants getting interview calls but haven't heard anything yet from July and Aug filers so far.

So you have at least one case to look for now from Aug 2019 filers 🙂 I will inform you on 12/23 about the outcome

I have updated our Google Spreadsheet Tracker with all recent interview information we received. Feel free to add/update your case information, so everybody gets more visibility to the long wait times.

From the rate of interviews, it looks like aug 2019 filers might get an interview call by Jan and  Sep 2019 filers by Feb. Wish you all well.
