Just got my interview date for Detroit. I filed at the end of December 2017.

Btw use the egov USCIS website to track your case through your Receipt number. The online account sometimes lags the information on that site. For example, I received an email earlier this morning telling me that there was no update my case since the fingerprint, but I checked the egov website, and low-and-behold, my interview had been scheduled.

Hello Sam. I filed on December 21st, 2017. My fingerprint notice came on December 25th 2017, completed my fingerprints on January 10th, 2018. There were no further updates for about 6 months, until today. I checked my email and received the typical "we're still reviewing your case... case last updateed January 10th". I decided to check the USCIS eGov site out of whim, and it showed there that my interview was scheduled yesterday. A few hours later, I log into my USCIS account and this change is also reflected there.

Thanks for responding. Congrats for getting the invite and I hope everything goes well with the interview and you become citizen soon. End of a long journey to citizenship is very near for you.

You are welcome. Let us all keep everyone informed so we know what's going on. Waiting months without knowing what's happening on the USCIS end, can lead to lot of stress, anxiety..

yes absolutely!:)

my husband applied in April 1st, biometric in April 25 and nothing since then, when I check the case online I get that case is being actively reviewed by USCIS.

Any one has similar timeline?

Last week they were sending interview letters for December 2017 filers. Probably this week they may have started early Jan 2018. I think April filers may need to wait for few more months (guess 2 to 4 months). This is just a guess based on timelines reported by members on this forum.

All the information in this post is based on data reported in timeline by members.
