@Nee & Kam I applied online on July 8th this year.  Still haven't been contacted for my interview date yet. But, I expect to hear something very soon. Two people that filed within 2 weeks before me (in June) have already had their interviews scheduled and, as you can see above, one of them - 2018n400 had their interview yesterday. Their priority date was just 15 days before mine.

I applied 1 month after you - Aug 10th, I am hoping you get the interview notice in a week or so, for it to be scheduled by end of December.  Normal interview notice is around 30 days from what i have noticed.

Hey Nee & kam, I sent a message to immigration officer on 10/30/2018 and got this in response. So this means background check is done and I can be scheduled for interview anytime?650555394_Screenshot_20181113-095514_SamsungInternet.thumb.jpg.5e960d9d8640f7a4430b4c970b68e707.jpg

Still waiting for my interview notice here and I applied online on July 8th.  One thing we have to remember, is that not everyone who applies for citizenship comes to this website. There are probably hundreds of people that still mail in their application and have no idea about this website. But, I will be sure to post here as soon as I get my interview notice.  I still have my fingers crossed that I'll get my interview before Christmas but, we'll see.

Congrats @Toomuchpd

thanks for the update @Al18, did your online case status also changed for "in line for interview scheduling" or something similar.

I will try to message to Immigration officer - early December.

Thank you, only thing I can offer to people still waiting is to be patient. I know it’s a hard advice to follow from my own personal experience, but for your own piece of mind,  please don’t over think it, go on about your daily business, the stress of applying for US citizenship and waiting for 5 to 6 months  is much greater on your mind than the actual process,  just be ready when it’s your time, people at the Detroit uscis are very nice and you’ll go through it like breeze.

good luck.

Hello everyone! Joining the thread so I can follow along with the updates. My husband will be eligible to file as of 2/6/19 and with the holiday season coming, I know it will go fast! Gosh...seems likely only yesterday I was picking him up at the airport. :)

He's still pending ROC so we're expecting a combo interview. Planning on filing online and sending 2017 and 2018 tax transcripts as well as summer and winter property tax bills (with both our names) and house deed (also with both our names) but other than that, I think we'll leave the rest to what was sent with ROC and keep the N-400 application short and sweet. But thought I would come here for advice as I had lots of help going through the CR-1 process.

If anyone has any advice or suggestions, we would love to hear it! Otherwise, I'm just here to say hello and see how things are progressing at the Detroit office.

Good luck to everyone waiting their interviews and oath ceremonies. Must be so exciting!

Welcome to the group.  In our case we filed by mail, and we sent the minimum required documentation for my wife’s N400 unlike her K1, AOS and the inch thick ROC.

Good Luck!

Today morning around 7 got an email from uscis saying that " we are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time". This is the 3rd time that I got this email since I filed, does anybody know what this email means?
