Hi all,

First, thank you all for the help! I am having a question regarding I-134 probably simple to most of you. I am a K1 petitioner who just recently filed I-129F petition for my fiancee (beneficiary). I know I will have to fill out and send I-134 form to her in the future once I receive the NOA2. By looking at the income requirement (100% of the poverty line), I have already met the requirement. What's confusing me is that I am not sure if I will still need to provide my total assets to meet the asset requirement. I think that once my income meets the requirement, then I don't need to worry about the asset portion. Is it true? Even so, is it required to obtain the bank letter and bank statements to show them how much asset I have?

Thanks again.

Yes, technically if your income annually is above the 100% then it alone should be okay.

Banking statements/assets/savings would be used at this point more for backup/extra show of financial values.

Remember that AOS is 125% of the poverty line.

While it may make the cut, it is also at the discretion of the CO if they feel the beneficiary would become a public charge or not.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I am also thinking this way, just to be sure. I will still try to provide every possible evidence that online sources suggest.
