how to get Medical insurance while waiting for AOS?

Hello Vjs

I am asking for help regarding the medical insurance for people who are on a pending AOS from aK1 visa?

we filed for AOS and we waiting now, my wife just updated her medicare profile and they approve here but they said I am not eligible for that since i did not established a residence in the US for more than 6 years.

I want to buy a medical insurance coverage and I dont have ideas I looked on the internet but did not find anything. I would like to have some help from people here who come on K1 visa and adjusted their status to buy a medical insurance, the cheapest one and most affordable. I also welcome any advise or guidance.

You can buy through the State Exchange.

it looks like it is Access health that we already applied through it and they send us a letter back saying that i dont qualify to buy a plan.

I might be wrong, could you please explain me more? please

Access is the State exchange, not sure what you can not buy through them unless they are saying you missed the window this year, filing for AoS I think allows you to join within the next 60 days.

 

Probably best to go an see somebody.
