I need advice/someone been through this

I’m here in the US with my husband. We are on M-1/M-2 visa. We applied for extension two months before our i-94 date expires. We just received that our i-539 is denied. I’m currently 38 weeks pregnant which means I can’t fly. We applied for OPT (optional practical training) but haven’t received anything yet.

1) My i-94 has expired but I filed the extension 60 days before and now I can’t fly. What to do?

2) Is the i-539 form related to the opt? Does that mean the opt will be denied too?

1) Maybe you should have left when you were able to fly. The problem is, how are you going to pay for the delivery, etc., without health insurance?

2) OPT is going to take 90 days to be processed. There is a time period within which you are able to apply for OPT. How long after the M1 coursework was completed did you apply for the OPT?

3) You only get 1 month on OPT for every 4 months of study under M1. So if you studied 8 months you get 2 months OPT. That would not be long and I'm not sure it would be enough for the baby to be delivered.

4) The i-539  is not related to OPT. The only issue is if filing the i-539 closed your window for applying for OPT.

Also  wondering how you are funding this, not likely to be covered by temporary insurance.
