I have a question.  I was reading that a AOS and IV packets have to be submitted in the mail.  Both packets need to be put inside of separate envelopes and then put into one big envelope to be shipped off.

My question is; what supporting documentation do I need to submit? Do I need to submit all over again; birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce decrees and all that stuff I already did back in the Texas Service Center phase?

If so which supporting docs go with which envelope? Thank you in advance!

Also,  when you fill out the affidavit of support form which line on my 2017 taxes do I get the income that I need to write on the AOS form?  Also,  I only need to submit a copy of my 3017 taxes correct?

you or your husband should have received a letter with a document check list that has letter code telling you what document are required if you did not get it you can go to the portal where you made payment for fees and print one from there

you are only required to submit the latest tax return

most people send in the Last three but it is not required

Using a tax transcript is easier then sending in the tax return. if using tax transcript that is all you need if using tax return then you need to send a copy of everything file with such as w-2 or anything else send with it

All supporting documents id for IV packet

All financial documents is for the AOS packet

Thank you!  We got approved Friday by TSC so it’s still fresh.  I am just trying to get ahead of the game by laying out all my document copies that I need so when the time comes I just put them all together and ship it.

I would prefer to send my 2017 tax return since I just finalized it last week.  So with that I include W-2’s and just to be safe my latest pay stubs.

I have one more question;

Do i need to get an official copy of my divorce decree from Phoenix that I had already originally sent to Texas Service Center during the approval stage?  I know that my wife needs to take my official divorce decree to her interview too correct?

Read instructions carefully.  Interpret literally.  And then, act accordingly.  I think you mean a "certified copy".  The purpose of bringing actual certified copies to the interview is simply so they can inspect them if they wish.  Otherwise the only original documents you send anywhere anymore are the forms you actually sign.  Everything else is a photocopy.

I called Maricopa County and they will send me a certified divorce decree in the mail.  To be safe I will make a photocopy of this and submit to NVC with the rest of the checklist items.  I will take the certified copy to Juarez.
