When will I be able to book interview?

Hi Everyone, 

 

So I've been trying for about a week to book the interview at the embassy but it keeps saying unable to schedule. Does anyone have any idea how long/why i can't book it yet? I really need to have the date so I can resign from work and do my last trips to friends and family, so this is just putting everything on hold again.

Have you had your medical yet? what does your case status say on the CEAC Website?

My medical is on the 4th and my CEAC status is in transit last time I looked. I've asked around and others have been able to book interview before they've had their medical or arrived at the embassy. I guess they've just been lucky that it's let them. I'll wait another week.

I think you need to wait until CEAC says READY as that's when your file has arrived at the Embassy.

Yeah Trudi is right, it needs to say READY before you can book at the embassy.  Shouldn't take long after in transit though, probably be ready by tomorrow.
