Guys,

My fiance and I don't know how much longer we can go on with our situation. Embassy claims my fiance has had an arrest for illicit group activity.  My fiance says he has never been arrested for that and we have looked everywhere in his country and no arrests for that is to be found.  We also hired an attorney to help us get to the bottom of it and she couldnt find any records for that in all the departments.

I received a phone call from the embassy a month ago and the lady explained that his finger print shows that arrest.  I asked her to give me more details that way we can go look for it where that happened. She says their system gives them no information at all. So she couldnt help.  I told her the situation and she said that if we gathered docs to proof he wasnt arrested that it would help. We did that with the help of our attorney which also took her 2 months of investigating and now we get an email saying their still missing the court documents for that arrest. It's soo frustrating because we have been waiting for months!! We also have a 8 month old daughter ="(

What type of documents did you previously send in to prove no arrest/charges?  Court-certified statements showing no charges/record, police clearance certificate showing no warrants/charges/fines?  When you sent in whatever evidence you gathered, did you get any sort of notification that the documents were actually received by the embassy before getting the email?

Yes we did ALL that. Police clearence, courts, papers from prosecutions office,   We even got his criminal records . We sent them an e-mail they said they received our documents we sent last week but its not what they need.  I emailed them again today asking for help, maybe they can give us guidance!! They should know something else right??  Or maybe they can take his fingerprints again.

Our attorney also mentioned that in El salvador since the police are so corrupted they might have gotten him involved in something else that he had nothing to do with!. I think that could have happened ..to be honest they could have used his finger prints to do evil. Its sad.
